Students at Priory

Vector Tech has brokered an agreement with the Liberty Academy At the Priory resulting in shared facilities at the Hope Road campus, located at 32 Hope Road (beside the Police Officers Club) and approximately one hundred metres north-east of Devon House.

The use of the Priory campus is particularly significant as it coincides with the launch of the charter cohort of the Bachelor of Science programmes, and which becomes the first group to attend classes at the campus. Students in the March 2009 cohort of the Associate programme are also attending classes at Priory.

The agreement now allows for the expansion of the student population as the facilities at the main campus at Eastwood Park Road had severely limited the growth of the institute.

Although located along the busy thoroughfare of Hope Road, the ambience of the Priory provides a serene environment which allows one to detach oneself from the hustle and bustle which exists beyond its perimeter. The Priory has a rich history, and housed the Priory School that was founded in 1940 by Jamaican Rhodes Scholar, Mr. Henry Fowler (1915 – 2007).Although, the Priory School is no longer in operation, and has been replaced by the Liberty Academy, the campus has retained its charm and character.
